Shashank Verma is founder and president at Clean Star Energy, India a sustainable biofuel company working with biofuels in India as well as Mozambique and Brasil.
Clean Star Energy is providing a more efficient supply chain, a distributive model where farmers are growing their own biofules on their less fertile areas of land and use that energy to power tractors and other tools needed for their work and even power mobile network towers nearby. The overall idea is to produce local and thereafter consume locally in order to avoid distribution costs and its inefficiency. As Shashank Verma says the goal is to be living as part of the ecosystem and intuned with nature rather than just exploiting it.
