Ramesh Prabhu is an Indian entrepreneur running a SocioEnvio Solutions social enterprise in India. Their aim is to adress the problem of air-pollution caused by numerous auto rickshaws in India. Since new technological solutions are not always cheap and the drivers are very dependent on their minor daily income this challenge took a different approach. Addressing the problem from the drivers perspective and offering a financial solution that enables a potential earnings increase and involving the community into encouraging the change seems to be the winning strategy.
